car: 92 civic si installing a python 1000esp
ok, old thread
right now, after spending 4 to 5 hours wiring, my friend and i managed to get almost all the wires.
I don't know where to hook this wire to and from
6. blue (-) instant trigger input, zone 4
- Trunk Pin GREEN/ Black (-) Above Fuse Panel Blue Connector
I couldn't find a BLUE CONNECTOR........but i found a different color connector with that GREEN/ black wire.....
another thing is I have the alarm brain, but I don't have the remote to it, so today I used my sister remote to her car that would work with my alarm brain and tried to program it, but i couldn't? I couldn't get into the transmitter /receiver learn routine.
Is it because that the learn function is locked? and I need a DEI BitWriter to unlock this?
But i was able to go into the system features learn routine without a problem by pressing and releasing the valet switch, and the alarm response by chirpping.
help me.....thanks

Ok first of all, how do you know that yer sisters remote was compatible? How old is the alarm you are installing?
Look on the back of the brain, it will say somewhere, "transmitter replacement part number???" What part number does it say? Also where did you get this alarm from, and are you absolutely sure that it still works?

Get the manual first :
http://www.directed.com/guides/manuals/ig/python/N439P.pdf
If your ignition wire and door trigger wire are not conected you won't be able to program the transmitters.
By default the learn routine is open.
Follow the manual EXACTLY !See page 32.
First I would recommend to delete all the transmitters.
Then I would go and "Learn Standard" configuration.
If the system will read the key-press on the remote then you should hear the beeps on the siren.
