i am installing an alarm in my millenia........ when i went to try the remote start, the ignition would turn on but the car wont crank. I didnt add the starter kill relay yet. I dont know why this is happening. I know that i hooked the right wire up to to correct starter wire, but i just realized that i might have put the  ignition (+) input wire in the wrong place. I hooked it up to the same wire as my high voltage 12v output wire. Could this be the problem or is it somthing else? HELP!

Did you test the wire you think is the starter wire for voltage when you crank the car with the key? Did you test the wire from the alarm that goes to the starter wire? Did you test any of your connections before you made them?

you must hook up the ignition one wire to the wire that is hot with the key on and while it is starting.
