Trying to hook up bulldog remote starter, lookin for the ignition wires one and two.Bulldog says pink and violet.I found two pinks and one violet that are hot when in the run position. How do i know which one to use?The other thing is these are both light gauge wires 16 or 18, the wires from bulldog are alot heavier.

The wire you require will show +12 volts in the *ON* and *CRANK* position.
Or as it is stated in other manuals it is the wire that shows 0 volts in the *OFF* & *ACCESSORY* position. And 12 volts in the ignition while in the *START* and *RUN* position.
I hope that helps.

The pink wire will be about 12 gauge. You have the wrong wires. Some GM's have a 16 gauge second ignition or starter wire, but not this vehicle if I remember correctly.
