I am installing a Crime Stopper CS-2016FM Alarm/Remote Start/Turbo Timer into a 4 F250 Super Duty Diesal Tach. I have been though many tech sheets and I cannot find a Tach source.
There is a 5 wire loose bundle with a green white above the E-Brake release. (Mesure with meter and tried with unit. No a/c voltage. I also tested the other wires in that bundle.)
White pink from fire wall in main harness. (No such wire)
White Pink at ECM next to battery in engine bay. (Voltage just increses from 0 to about 7 volts it does not pulse like a normal tach. It will hold a voltage not switch.) I did try this and the truck will start and run for about 30 sec to a minute then the unit shuts down and goes full alarm.
White Pink behind Gauge cluster. (No such wire and i test all others for a tach source. non found.)
Tachless does not work consistantly at all. (Key off battery voltage 13.30vdc engine running voltage 14.40vdc. not a big change)
I must be missing something any help would be appriciated. Thanks
Randy

I've found tach inside around the e-brake. Green I believe or GREEN/ something ;comes to a dead end inside. Directechs says this is an okay source for tach.
