Just bought this deal and find that it requires "Authorized Dealer Installation Only". Am replacing Ford's own junk OEM that should have been replaced under warranty but neglected.

Moving right along now, can I get some input on what problems I may run into. I see that there doesn't seem to be a "simple" corelation between this unit and the original plugs, so guess I'll be heating up the soldering gun. Is there any schematic out there that may help me? If so, I certainly would appreciate it.

Any help at all.

Thanks,

Patrick

rick94,

Thanks for the response. I 've found several "sources" for the tach but yours seems to be most logical. Will check it out.

This installation looks like a good bit more than what I had bargained for. Getting too old for this crap but am now on a "fixed income" and have no "craftsman" in my area that I can either afford nor or rely on. Pity!

Thanks again,

Patrick
