I think I am missing a ignition wire. security is not shutting it down, it cranks for the 8 sec then trys over again. any help would be great.

ps    also need to know how to power up the heater motor

any info is good info

1 2volts

 lt. blue/red (10A)  +  ignition harness
Notes: This wire is rated at 10 amps only. If installing any system with high current outputs, go to the battery for 12v.
Starter yellow  +  ignition harness
Second Starter PURPLE / brown  -  ignition harness
Notes: The second starter wire is negative trigger thru a 180 ohm resistor. MUST use relay. Refer to directfax document #1083 for wiring information.
Ignition pink/white  +  ignition harness
Second Ignition N/A
Third Ignition N/A
Accessory not required for remote start

Did you hook up the second starter wire? this will make it not start....

It sounds like you didn't hook up the relay to pulse the viloet/brown wire to ground through a 180 ohm resistor during crank. This is why it won't start and why the climate controls aren't working.

Accessory runs with ignition in those vehicles, so you dont need to hook it up. You only need to hook up 12V, ignition (pink/white), starter (yellow), and second starter (negative with 180 ohm resistor through a relay. If you didn't hook that up, the van is just gonna sit and crank. Also, which color is the head of the key for the van? If its grey, you need a bypass for the transponder type key. If its black, you wont need to bypass the key.
