I've installed this alarm about 1 month ago on a 2002 Dodge RAM 1500. It worked fine for a while but now it started randomly arming by itself with no apparent motive. It does not do it every time I left the vehicle.  This is very problematic because two times I left the keys inside and had to call somebody to bring me other key set. Anyone has had this kind of trouble before? Any ideas what to check?

Sounds like you are in passive arming. Look in the install manual at the programming. Change it to active arming.

No. The alarm is set to active arming. This is a random occurrence and does no happen all the time.
