I need help finding where and what color the VSS wire is.  I need to find it for a navigation system, can I find it near the Cruise control box.

I read a few places that I can find it there, but I've been told two different things on what color the VSS wire is, GREEN / WHITE or purple.

If its not by the cruise control can ypu please tell my in English terms where it is located,

Thanks,

Tristan

Between Tire & Headlight, Passenger side, 80 Pin Connector  Position 16 GREEN / White wire   4000 PPM
Take 7mm screws out from under wheel well and under front bumper (passenger side)  Pull plastic wheel well loose.  It is under there

But I willgo out now and see if it is where you said.

Thanks,

tristan

The VSS wire can be found in the bottom side of the large connector plug next to the driver's side shock tower. The wire is GREEN / WHITE in the corner of the plug, but it doesn't come through to the top. It dead ends in the bottom side. If you remove the battery and aire box, you can easily get to it and make a good connection.
