I am putting in a deck into a 04 golf. the power wires seem to be giving me weird readings. It is the monsoon deck originally with the double din opening, and I am putting in a JVC. If i just use the metra 70-9003 harness will it all work or is there a trick to it???? When I first looked at the car I didn't have the harness so I was just testing the wires. So I guess what I am asking is if the monsoon system needs more work that just using the 70-9003 harness.
Thanks in Advance

You will probably have to bypass the amplifier, it is on the driver's side either behind the big panel or under the rear deck. Check into this model harness, 70-1787 .Here is the wiring info,
LF Speaker +/- blue/white - BROWN / white   +,- radio harness
RF Speaker +/- red - BROWN / red   +,- radio harness
LR Speaker +/- RED / green - BROWN / green   +,- radio harness
RR Speaker +/- blue - BROWN / blue   +,- radio harness

Always check info with a digital multimeter.
