I just bought a used IVA-D901 and it is already prewired with the Pac TR-7 , I'm trying to install the NVE-N852A ( alpine Navi ) , my question is do I connect the wire for the reverse (comming from the navi) to the PAC and if so which color wire on the PAC do i use ?

What exactly is the function of the tr 7?

I think I already know the answer, but want to make sure before I post anything.

The only purpose of the reverse wire is to keep the nav display from flipping upside down when you back up.  It should not be connected to the TR-7

It should be in the harness of wires that goes from the drivers kick panel to the rear of the car.  remove the kick panel or the drivers door sill.  It should be in both of those locations.
