Does anyone have any reccomendations on how to burn this disc using OSX? I have the program Toast Titaniuim and I think I have a general idea how to do it, but I would rather get it right the first time. Thanks

My post did not work again. I used Agent this time, and started it Monday night. It was still going the next morning, but I had a connection reset error message when I got home from work, and nothing got uploaded. WinRar takes way too long and takes 90% of my CPU, so compressing it's not an option. I'll have to try and figure out something else.

The best way to do it is to RAR it up when you go to sleep. The next morning it'll be done for sure. Then either create it on Torrent or you can up it directly to me and I'll create it on Torrent and host the file. The thing is, nobody is going to let you store a few gigs worth of data for free unless someone here has some webspace to loan. I personally have a domain but it only has 80GB of transfer per month.

I thought about letting it run overnight, but WinRar reports it will take 8 hours to compress. When I first tried compressing it with WinRar, my PC temp was about at 140 degrees Farenheit in about 10 minutes. 8 hours of that is not something I want. If I lower the priority it might not hog as much CPU, but then it will take even longer to compress.

So much TROUBLE when you can get it only for $25 for two discs SHIPPED:

I'm not going to start a flame war with you Scarface, but I did buy two discs off of ebay, and I'm here trying to share them with others instead of trying to get them to buy them. That is the least I can do given all the help I've gotten from others on this forum Modding Avic-N1/N2 Nav DVD’s - Page 33 -- posted image.

I have a 2.4 GHz box I'm working on, so I will transfer WinRar and the file to it and let that one do all the work. We'll see how it goes.

OK I HAVE to post my nightmare about upgrading the N1 to the N3 software (60MT).

First, it took me 3 tries to get the DVD to burn after downloading the ISO for 3 days. I finally got the software upgraded, and little did I know, not only does it disable the DVD in motion (yes, I knew that) but it also disables the Audio/Video inputs!! WTF!!! I have a carputer connected to those! I was HOSED.

Also, the Navigation didn't work. I could see where I was on the maps, but the choices for ADDRESS SEARCH and anything related to that weren't even available. The buttons were there but they weren't highlighted.

Long story short, I had to force flash back to 40MT 1.2 .

All of those features are disabled while you're driving, but they come back as soon as you stop. You can also trick it momentarily while driving by cycling the toggle switch. That works for about 2 seconds each time.

Here's what I want to know: I get the nag screen that the system has detected an improper parking brake connection as soon as I start my car, before I'm even moving. How does it know? I'm wondering if it's looking for more than a simple ground on the park brake lead, and will do some experimenting this weekend.
