Purchased an Ungo MS 20007 2 way remote start alarm system for $500.  It contains remote start, 1 shock sensor, dual lock/unlocks and tailgate open/closed button, basic system.  Problem is remote start will work, then won't work, very unconsistent.  There was a terrible web underneath the steering column.  When I looked underneath, found that some T-taps where disconnected(Orange, and pink), also noticed that a brown wire had a T-tap connected to it, yet there was no male connector to plug into it.

Also, I found out that I can at times arm the alarm, open the door, close the door, put key into the ignition, start the truck, then leave w/out alarm sounding or system shuting down . . . as well as with my kid jumping up and down in the bed(when parked) w/out alarm sounding . . . things that make you go hhhmmmmmm!!!!

Being that the installer is quite far and that the A/V installation was redone by myself, after finding a really bad Mickey Mouse job(ugly!), I don't trust their installers enough for me to drive the distance to be fed alot of soup.  So I redressed the cables and brain to a more stealthier appearence, yet I am feeling queezy about the job and want to finish it myself . . . to my satisfaction.

I would like to connect a motion and glass sensor, aux (heater/ac) when remote start activated, make sure remote start works, extra battery source if battery is disconnected, and a for sure shutdown if key is used to start vehicle when 2-way remote is not used to disable alarm.

Of course to do this I need Ungo wire color codes, manual, shop owner install manual, and correct wire color codes for 1997 Chevy Silverado 3 door Z71 5.7 Vtec 4x4.  The shop owner will not fax any info.  Personnely I ate a good portion of over a $7000 system, all from improper installation and time aggravation of things not working, yet clarity will come from taking my time and doing it myself.  That way I learn and not get a queezy feeling when things don't work.

Much obliged and enjoy the holidays!!!

To the future!
