Hey guys what's up?  Yes, I'm revisting the Giordon 2-way alarm system again heh.  I've got everything hooked up, but the remote start doesn't want to work.  The turbo timer function works, so I know I have it hooked up right.  I have the bypass module with transponder key.  One thing though, I have a manual transmission, but I've actually sat in the car and tried to remote start it while pushing the clutch down to see if that was the problem, still a no go.

I made a video of what it's doing http://www.nightvisionsweb.com/remotestart.wmv

So far I have it hooked up as follows.

Yellow to start

Brown 1 to inigtion, brown 2 to ignition 2

blue to acc

violet to tach on engine.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Oh, I forgot to add, it's on a 98 accord with manual transmission.  And when I try the remote start it doesn't even turn over, just flashes like in the movie.

The green light flashing.... is it in the shape of a key ?

If so your transponder bypass is messed up in some way.

Insert the key, but dont turn it, and try it again.

Alright, so I figured out that it's something with the Alarm.  I took a test probe to all the relays to the remote start and for some reason the security system doesn't send the signal for the starter.  I saw a post about someone else having the same problemwith this system?  Hopefully they'll see this post and help me out.  :-/

Hi nightShade,
Giordon alarm system has triple relay for remote start use. You can see the wire(yellow, brown, blue) and one white socket(3pin) connect to alarm system in this relay assembly.
These wire have (-) Output when remote start. So bypass module system ground wire connect to this "brown" wire.
This system must be push twice transmitter's remote start key when remote start.
Good luck!
