I have grounded the e-brake sense wire. Added +12V to the foot brake wire.

Still it says 'If you are driving pull over to use this function.' HELP!

Do I need the latcher (TR-7 from PAC)? If so what is the programming sequence?

Or am I missing something else? I realize there are wires for 'speed' and 'reverse' as well as the brakes.. It seems it just 'knows' when this damned Jeep (Cheroke) is moving!  Please somebody kick in with some info for me on this. THANK YOU!

Alpine commonly uses a sequence of: pressing foot brake (hold), press parking brake, release foot brake.

You can mimic this by using a momentary switch and a toggle switch.

Hook the momentary switch to 12v (other side to foot brake wire)

Hook the toggle switch to ground (other side to parking brake wire)

once hooked up turn system on and press & hold the momentary switch, flick the toggle switch on, release the momentary switch.

It should now let you in.
