Iam installing a python 1400xp on a 1999 ford f-150 extended cab 4x4 5.4.  Was wondering if anyone coud tell me if I need a bypass module or anything else to d the install?  also could use sme help with a wiring diagram too please.

Yes you need a bypass XK04

If your key looks like this:
python1400xp, 1999 ford f 150 - Last Post -- posted image.
then you need a bypass.
If it looks like this, then you don't need a bypass.

Ok, I don't know why the first image wouldn't load. Here's the link to where I got it - this key does have a transponder and you'll need a bypass if yours looks like it.

I installed a python 1400xp with remote start.  I got everything wired  except for the tach wire couldn't find it and the immobilizer got the xk04 .  Could some one please help me the truck will crank but not turn over , any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I got it all done and the truck will just crank and not start any Ideas what it  could be?  Any help would be appreciated.
