Hi all,
I'm working on my install and will pick up tomorrow. I have all the wires sorted right now except the domelight supervision wires. I'm really confused about these two wires on the Crimeguard alarm. According to the manual, I can connect the GREEN/ violet wire(supervision output) to the door trigger connection that I use. This seems easy enough, just connect the door trigger and GREEN/ violet wire to the same wire. But where I get confused is on the connection of the BLACK/ red(supervision input) wire. Is this supposed to be connect to the same wire as above or somewhere else?
Another question that would totally nullify the above question is do I even need to connect these wires at all? The factory keyless entry already turns on the domelight on unlock. That being said, all I really need to worry about are my lock/unlock connections as these functions control the domelight as well. Am I right here?

Ok, so I asked crutchfield and they confirmed that I don't need to use the domelight supervision because of the factory keyless already working with domelight supervision. So once I have the keyless for the crimeguard is connected domelight supervision will work. They also told me that IF I still wanted to use the domelight supervision capabilities is the crimeguard, I would connect the GREEN/ violet wire to door trigger and the BLACK/ red to ground.
On another note, I have been trying to find the lock and unlock cables in my truck. I have the wire list but it only says to look for them in the white plug in the driver's kick panel. Well, there are a number of white plugs in the driver's kick panel! Does anyone know where I can find documentation which would tell me EXACTLY where to find the lock/unlock wires?

Follow the wires coming in from the rubber door boot, they travel down to 2 plugs that are not mounted in the kickpanel but are simply loose. The wires on each side of these plugs are covered in black plastic. You'll find them there...
