Using Avital 1 way remote start/keyless (4103) and the idatalink ADS-AL(DL)-TL1  (type 3)

is the only wire coming from the thick gauged remote start wiring is the two 12volt red, pink iginition (connected to pin 7 of the ECU), and the purple stater wire (connected to the bypass and NOT the car)?

any other suggestions or pointers with this car.

greatly appreceiated,

jason

You are correct. Wire it exactly as stated in the TL1 manual and it will work fine. Get power from the fuse box power wire, be sure to add the diode. No other connections to the car are needed as the TL1 software does it all for you thru CAN data...

If the auto lights are left on when it remote starts they will not shut off because they don't see the drivers door open and close to start the timer. You can either pulse the driverrs door pin after the RS shuts off, or do like i do and add a relay to break the auto light wire whenever the RS is on....

take a relay

85  - GWR

86 - constant 12v
Cut the autolight wire
87a - autolight wire switch side
30 - autolight wire light side

i ususally just pulse the driver door pin OR you can pulse the autolight shut off wire at the switch as well. I beleive its red (-). I will check that foryou again.
