2 things:

1. An 01 Grand Am doesn't have a +12V IGN turn on for the radio. Its turned off and on through the 5V data line.

2. Check the fuses under the hood. There is a fuse there that is labeled radio/something I dont remeber but might be the issue with your +12V constant

Thanks for the clarification BUT....DEI says WHITE/ red some type of security - Page 2 - Last Post -- posted image.
