KeySense Shut-off

Ok so I guess I will ask this again since I need to know now. I asked a little while back and only got one response. For a 2002 Ranger install, will the be any issues when using a PKU-F2 if there is a key in the ignition at the same time as a remote start attemt. If there is, then I plan on using a relay to interrupt the (-) out when running wire that goes to the bypass module. If not then I guess there is no reason to bother. Conversely, lets say I did use a keysense shut off feature, there would be a gap created by putting the key in the cylinder since the bypass would shut off immediately, yet the key would not be close enough to the cylinder to be seen by the computer until it is fully inserted. Would that gap cause an issue, or does the computer only look for a key before the car is started, and possibly a short time after? Or does it monitor the key the entire time? I assume there is no risk since the unit would likely be designed with a keysense shutoff wire if it needed one, but then again, why do all of the universal bypasses now have them.   J Rilla
