also remember, if two peices oif vinyl have to meet at a seam, make sure it's on a flat surface, if you cut it to seam at a corner, the thickness of the vinyl will show and suck.   You can use a razor blade to cut the two peices to the same shape and have them pushed together.   You can make it look seamless

I've never really understood this. If you were to wrap a rectangular box in vinyl, wouldnt there have to be overlapping parts coming from the corners? How so u prevent this?

dam the spray glue use contact cement u can get it at napa and yes it is a form of spray adhesive ( i tried spay glue it dosent last as long ) the pros use the cement for auto upholstery..........good luck with the project

Has anybody ever tried the 3M #80? It is specifically for rubber and vinyl.. I saw it last time I was at the home depot but haven't had a reason to buy any yet. I would think this is your best choice for applying vinyl.
