Hey guys, need some quick help.
I just got two sets of Infinity Kappa 572.5's for my 96 Mustang GT.
Each box came with two crossovers.
Do I need these crossovers to run the speakers? It said in the "intruction manual" that I could cause damage to the speakers if I didn't use them.
I'm powering the speakers from a pioneer deck.
If I don't need the crossovers, which side do I connect the wires to?
If I do need the crossover, should I just connect the two wires going IN to the crossover to the deck?

Yes, absolutely you need to use the crossovers.  The woofer connects to the low pass output side and the tweeter to the high pass output side.  I believe if you use the factory supplied wires, the lugs are sized so that they only connect to one place on both the crossovers and the speakers.  And yes, you connect the speaker output from the deck to the crossover "in."
