Alright guys time to help out...Instaling a 971xv viper into a 2001 buick regal using a PLDATA to bypass the passlock2.   Hooked up the alarm portion as normal, remote start as follows...
used the Blue/white wire to drive a neg pulse to the PLDATA...I have verified my data wire and ground, power ect.    it goes through the steps to program and such.
The car turns on all accessorys to start the vehicle but no crank.    I have tried the steps from viper and nothing.   Now I think the netural safety wire might not be secure, would this cause it not to crank?
I will be up for awhile trying to find an answer so get back to me as soon as you can.

yes it could....put the key in the ign. and try to start it.....if nothing, take the safety wire and ground it if its a grounding type...then try it
Good Luck

check the output from your starter and make sure it's accually working.
If you've installed starter kill/antigrind, make sure you have the two wires on the right ends of the starter wires.
I've never had a problem with the trilogix pieces/

Is the blue/white programmed for a status output, or is is programmed for other uses? Try using the blue GWR on the relay pack (4 pin little harness with a blue, orange, purple, and pink). Also, did you try using a normal (non data) paslock module? PLDATA doesen't work all that well on non Class2 compliant vehicles. Can be hit and miss as to it actually working.
