DEI 555H bypass in a 99 Acura TL

I'm trying to install a Crimestopper CS2011RS Series IV in a 1999 Acura TL 3.2 along with a DEI 555H imobilizer bypass. The problem I'm having is that none of the keys (including the valet)will "learn". In short: Got everything wired via the directions. Car WILL remote start with key in the cylinder. So with the test passed I installed the bypass. LED comes on. Remote start kicks in but the LED never goes out (the LED should shut off following a successful learn/program.) The vehicle starts fine with just the key. Won't start if I unplug the 555H harness (wiring good?) Any help would be appreciated. Thanks cls

Actually, profuse007, that's not what you say here. However, I think the chart is wrong-- the 555H's instructions also say 01-02. Me

Thanks for the replys I just got off the phone with the store that recommended the 555H. All of a sudden they said it's hit or miss and that since that didn't work I should get a 555U or 556U . I was REALLY hoping to avoid leaving a key in there. Another installer said that the keyless bypasses on the Acura's tend to have problems (could've been trying to sell me the 555U though.) cls

some of the Honda bypass just wont learn the key... dont know why but i've seen it before... i always tell my customers that we'll try it with a H or I first, but if neccessary we'll have to use the 555U...... what i do is go to the the local key shop a block or so away from me and get them to code another key but not cut it... then i have a key to use in the 555U but the key could never actually start the car.....Kevin Gerry
