I just installed a Clifford RSX III Alarm remote start on a 2004 Honda Civic EX. The remote start features were not hooked up because the car is a manual transmission. This is not my first alarm install, nor my first time installing this particular alarm. I used a wiring diagram from the 12 volt, and a DMM to find all of my wires. I did not touch, remove, unplug, or tie anything to any of the yellow wrapped SRS looms. A day after the install, the SRS light is on in the car. Could taping into the ignition and starter for a starter kill or something have set this light off?
Any HELP would be awesome!

Not likely , but then again I have never seen this happen when I've installed into the Civic's. You will need to get the dealership to claer the code and see why it came up. Maybe a loose connector.

Installing any aftermarket electronic device often create erratic unwanted behaviour in the vehicle. The one you have mention has not happen to me. One thing you can try is removing the power completely for a period and putting it back on afterward and see if it will reset itself. Anyways, I just thought desperate time calls for desperate measure.   Beside that you can hurry to your dealer, shell out a few $$$ and get a code reading as Jeff suggested.

sometimes resetting the light does not solve the problem but if you must try.....

1. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio.

2. Turn the ignition switch off.

3. Remove the No. 6 ECU (PCM) fuse (15A) from the underhood fuse and relay box for more than ten seconds
