2005 Chevy Uplander remote start

The key sense wire probably won't make a difference on this vehicle. We have done a bunch as well and pretty much just been told it's normal when using a data bypass on these vehicles. Customers don't like hearing that is normal. I also don't buy it as being normal since it doesn't happen everytime you remote start it in my experience anyway. I have switched to key in the box bypasses on these because of this. Mike

So basically what the OP is saying is that everything works fine except you get the blinking light and message when doing a remote start UNTIL you put the key in right??

You get the security light and a message in the message center that say starting disabled.. goes right out when the key is inserted..
