it tells me in the manual that i need the alt connection for the autostart/turbotimer (turbotimer is built in). will these diodes be o.k for my hookup to the indicators?

use 6 amp diodes the 4 will heat too much.
whats up with the alternator..
is it not a tach connection that you need. all remote starter should be connected to a tach wire that can be got at distributor or injectors..
what exactly does the manual say to connect to   word for word
Why oh Why didn't i take the blue pill

The 4004 diodes you have are only rated for 1A; here are some that are 6A-

the manual says that the RED / black wireshould be connected to the alternator and that it should have a voltage of 4.5v. i was talking to an installer today and he said that when you start the car this voltage should drop to 0v.
