I have an 05 Trailblazer with the Lynx 2000 installed.  The car will remote start but then will shut down and restart 2 more times.  Any ideas on what can cause this?  We have tried wiring to the tach, alternator, and leaving the wire disconnected and it does the same thing.  The system has been programmed correctly as far as we can tell.

I would appreciate any advice.  Thanks

well first off....did you wire the bypass module right?  It sounds like a Bypass module problem.  Try this.  Put the key in the ignition and turn it to the on postion....then activate the remote start.  IF it starts and works ok....then you have a bypass module problem or you are not powering the right ignition or accessory wires.  But if i was a betting man....it sounds like a bypass module problem.  Start by telling us how you wired the bypass module and what brand and model you used.
Where theres is a wire there's a way.
