I just installed a Valet 561t module in a 2007 Chevy Equinox Using an Omega PK3 bypass plus kit. It activates everything but never cranks the car, I did shutdown diagnostics and it flashes 4 times. what does this mean? If I run a jumper wire from the starter relay under the hood to the starter wire at the BCM it works.

i did an equinox the other day and had the same problem

if i remember correctly the second accessory wire was causing the problem because when i unhooked it, the car starter fine, try cutting out the 2nd accessory connection and remote starting it, if that doesnt work, its not gonna damamge anything anyways, so its worth a shot

Oh I never had it hooked up in the first place, but I narrowed it down to a defective PK3 bypass module. I got a new one from my dealer and installed it...its been working perfect ever since. Thanks alot for the response though.
