Is this new ? If so, get a new CPU. I had a bad CPU out of the box last week and had to get a new CPU. Once I had it it programmed within the first try.

Mine was brand new out of the box aswell. I know it wasn't my wiring cause with the new CPU it programmed right away and also installe dit into a 2005 Ford F150 and I've done 20 of those trucks already this season so I know that it wasn't my wiring.

OK now, mines in a 1982 chevy cavalier ( dont laugh, I just need to protect my subs lol) I have no power door locks, no factory security, no nothing. So I hooked up my power, ignition, acc, ground all that. is there anything else that i need to hook up? Another thing is my park lights. Icant figure out where to hook up the input and output. thx

You need to hook up the hood pin in order to program the remote controls and options do you not ? Also, the RS versions also need the brake switch as well.

do not connect horn and siren wire together. If you do, u might see lovely fireworks in your can and lots of smokee - dead brain. meter you siren output with a DMM. ground black and connect red to your siren wire. see if it reads 12v when u open the door(armed). as for high current output, most units have internal relays to do this. maybe it could be your siren. try touching neg and pos to the battery terminals and see if it wails.
