Sorry didn't realise that, as an examlple, the G4 I/Start was USA made and gave no problems, the G5 I/Start (only available in UK, frankly as a numbers game the rest of Europe folows the UK), looks the same till you realise the casing is shinier and the loom thicknesses (same colours) are not quite the same.  It also gives lots of programming glitches when useing the Wiz, to the extent that if I don't  have to change crank time,  I will ALWAYS manually programme tach LAST. The install guide is prone to proofing errors in relation to parking brake wire and GREEN/ black autobox wire but what's new. As far as I know current DEI product is made by Liteon (a Dutch company) in Taiwan (along with Toad and Sigma  alarms from the UK).
