I have the 2wfm alarm model installed in my 2006 dodge ram. I hooked up the chdl7 interface module and wired up the alarm except for the parking lights. I installed a remote start/alarm on my previous 06' dodge ram so I have successfully installed a system in this truck before. I plugged in all the wires and nothing, the led doesnt light up the remote doesnt do anything at all. I checked and rechecked and pulled the alarm brain cover off and nothing looks or smells abnormal.

Do you realize the remotes do not come programmed to the system? Key ON and OFF 5 times, leave it in the ON position the 5th time, the brain will make a clicking sound, then press the "lock" or "1" button on the remote. You should hear a clicking sound to confirm the remote has programmed. The lights will also flash if you hooked them up correctly.

While I have not installed many alarms I have never had to do that before. Thanks a lot, saved me a lot of trouble.

Something else I noticed when I got it working is that this interface module works the parking lights as well. When I used the chdl7-pk2 with my code alarm rs on the last truck I had to use a relay. It says chdl7 on it but when I bought it it was the XK-03.
