Bring back the universal bypass module and get a Honda specific bypass module instead. This way you don't loose a key and retain the immobilizer's security. Also, the connection is only 5-6 wires depending on the module that you get. Very simple and easy to program as well.

true... but i went to futureshop n they said 120$ for the bypass... thats kinda expensive plus i cannot return the one i got so isnt there a way to get this one to work????

The problem with the universal bypass modules is that is has to induce the signal into the loop of the OEM transponder, not around the transponder. You will need to somehow wrap the wires behind the OEM transponder ring in order for this to work. Also, $120 for the module is robbery ! We sell the keyless modules for the Honda for 1/2 of this

deacon, are you sure idatalinks are sold at canadian tire? cuz i have never see one pop up anywhere. i have only seen prostart equiptment, nothing else.

yep in regina,sask they have them there and cheaper then best buy

visions also have them in regina.

cant find it at canadian tire... they said they stopped selling them i went to 2 different ones... any more suggestions? and another thing im having trouble finding my trunk release wire.. on the wiring info it says YELLOW /GREEN "above fuse box" any idea where i can find this??

okay now im really confused... if you go to HERE it says that the parking light connector is RED / black and the trunk trigger is blue/black, but the wiring info i got from prostart website says that parking light is RED / yellow and trunk release is YELLOW /GREENprostart ct 3310 01 honda civic - Page 2 -- posted image. . so what to do??? these are the only 2 wires i cannot locate
