Good day folks, I tried the search function & also scrolled thru 10 pages before posting. We put a Prostart into an 89 Ranger but am having trouble sorting out the power locks. The wiring guide shows the wiring colors & location behind the drives headlight. But this truck does not use relays to control the actuator. Is there a module or other way to allow the remote start to control the door locks? THX, Cheers Rick

Since the vehicle does not have factory relays controlling the actuators you would wire them as a 5-wire setup. This diagram should clear things up for you.

Thx for the reply, by the looks of it I would have to wire the relay package inside the drivers door. Or could one make the connections @ the factory plugs behind the drivers headlight. Cheers Rick

You can make those connections behind the headlight.
