Hello,

I'm going to be installing a Viper 5900 with a 689M.  My question is that the clutch doesn't need a positive or negative trigger to be bypassed, it is a "Type 4 System" which needs one of the wires to essentially be cut.  Do I need to use the clutch bypass included with the 689M or can I just wire it using a relay and the ground when running and starter wires like the DEI Type 4 system diagram shows?  I currently have a Compustar 2WSS-AS installed and have it wired this way and it works just fine.  If I don't use the clutch bypass feature of the 689M is it still going to work correctly?  Thanks!

Alright, it does work... don't need to use the included clutch bypass!
