I had a set of Infinity 60.5cs (6/5" woofer, 1" tweeter). I was actually not impressed at all by them, maybe because they were only being powered by my Alpine HU. But when once of the woffer blew out (it had been repaired earlier...only a matter of time I guess) I ended up changing out the woofers with 63.5i 3-Ways and hooking them to the low side of the 60.5cs crossovers output, leaving the 1" tweeters in. This setup I think sounded much better. I also have the 63.5i's in the rear so maybe the systems more balanced like this...don't know. Make sure you go somewhere and listen to them before you buy them.
Allan.

I would go with CDT audio. They are relatively new to the states. They are made in finland. I found a fantastic deal at outerlimitsaudio.com. I called and talked to Steve Lockhart. I ended up getting about 800-1000 dollars worth of speakers for 450. Definately check these out

All the manufactures listed are great and sound good, but think cost wise along with sound. Do you want 2 or 3 way components? 2 are nice 3 great but yer gonna spend bug bucks. I have a set of 6 1/2" Alpine Type R 2way components. Yeah I know Alpine is mid priced name, but they have great high and low definition, and they are very crisp to listen to with any type of music. Whatever you choose good luck...eh!
CANADA ROCKS!!!

I recently purchased a set of CDT baraxials from www.outerlimitsaudio.com I got them for a great price and there are nothing but rave reviews about these speakers. Lot of cutting edge technology at a very reasonable price. Check out there website www.cdtaudio.com for the details.

CDT has very good products. I know that there are a lot of loyal infinity fans out there (I am with some perfects), but as far as components i would go with 1.MB Quart, 2.CDT, then infinity or others

Well, in MHO I'd say 1.Focal, 2.MB Q/ Diamond, 3.Boston and then the rest...but that's just what I've listened to personally.Components, Whats the best? - Page 2 -- posted image.
