i would assume that you did plug the ribbon cable into the brain correct? I would double check the output of the brain to make sure that you have 12v constant on the red wire, and ground pulses in the blue/green during unlock/lock accordingly. Is the fuse on the violet/black blown? Also, put your finger on the 451m to make sure you can physically feel it click when you press the lock/unlock button. I would also temporarily disconnect the green wire w/ the resistor and just leave the unlock hooked up to verify proper functioning of the r/s and 451m.

something else you can try is to run the violet/black to its own seperate ground. It is very rare, but I have had some cars that if I simply tagged into the r/s ground it wasnt getting quite enough of a ground...but by giving its own ground, it fixed it.

run the green wire and resistor directly to the vehicle's door lock wire.....  i would assume the way that you have it spliced into the blue wire may be causing some interference with the 451m.....  just a thought....
if at first u dont succeed........ lower ur standards
