I have been reading that this alarms have an issue with the domelight wiring not transmitting back to the remote. I do not use the domelight supervision. I use the door triggers. Would I have an issue with this or not?

Also I like the mile range but I like the color remotes dang. Should I just get the 5900 instead?

nope no issues because the domelight supervision is just there to light up the inside of your car when you unlock/disarm it. Using the door triggers to trigger your alarm is correct. If you were to use the domelight you will use a relay for sure and connect it to the door pin as well since door pin controls lights. the 5900 and the new one from viper are same, its the money your putting out that will determin which you buy.
