working on a new body style 07 silverado base model work truck. Putting on remote start, and xk06, had all wired up went to program xk06, and it did nothing when I switched the key over, like the battery was unhooked. Tried a couple diffent things, now have taken everything off the truck, back to factory, dash lights and radio come on, fuel pump primes but will not crank, theft icon stays lit on dash. I have tried several time to leave the key on even for up to and hour and it will not go out and the truck will not start. Is there anything different to relearning the key. Any help would be appreciated.

That is great info to have in the arsenal of technical tips. It will make you look like a champ if you need to fix something another shop has done to make the passlock system go out of whack. Also it will prevent issues at your own shop.
The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya

I've used this information for years to help diagnose and solve Passlock, PK3 and Passkey systems. Make sure that you save a copy of the article on your computer if you are an installer for future reference or if you can not access the internet.
