06 mazda3 manual trans r/s

Love the forum here, searched but found mixed results. Installed an astrostart rs613 on this car but cannot get it to start remotely. Theft indicator will just flash when i attempt it. If i shut down the car in the saftey sequence it will stay running after keys removed so i'm assuming the bypass is working, so i think i have a clutch bypass issue. Some results here say hook starter wire to gray/black in drivers kick, as does astrostarts instructions, tried that. Other posts say send (-) to grey/black and also hook starter wire to crank wire at ign harness. Can anyone confirm how to do this? I won't have the car back for a couple days or i would just try. I'll check into that, when i hooked it up the papers with it said if it was flashing at the same time as the theft indicator it was properly setup. When i try a remote start i get a rapid flash out of the dash indicator. Thanks for the quick response!

sounds like 100% the bypass. what bypass did you use?
