i havent done a chrysler 300 yet, but the ignition system has something called a Multiplex system. There are ignition and Acc wires. When you turn the key, Acc drops and becomes a Starter wire. You should use bypass modules that can interface these wires or using 2 relays, it can also be done, but not as efffectively.

The 2008 300C uses the new style FOBIK key just like the minivans.  If you have a vehicle like this I'd recommend a module like the IDatalink ADS-AL-CA to control door locks and pick up the door triggers via the CANBUS

you will have to go under the hood find the wire that feeds the actual starter and interface there, the Wireless Ignition node (WIN) which is what you stick the fobik into sends a bussed message to the TIPM (totally integrated power module) under the hood and it does the starting

the car has an immobilizer so i would say no need for one really. having a starter kill is an extra layer of security but its nice to have.

Wiring is same except for fobik. Do it like a 2008 Caravan.
