What is your budget for 2000-2500watts RMS?

At first you say you're avoiding Rockford and Alpine b/c of pricing, but now you say there is no budget?!

Get 2 PDX1000.1's, power each coil with one, and be done. You'll have plenty of power on tap (I think Haemphyst said his birth sheet stated his 1000.1 makes over 1100wRMS), and stackable -to take up less room. 'Nuff said.

I just re-read my posts and dont see anywhere that price was a concern of mine. I want to stay away from Rockford/Alpine because of their high price/watt, and thought a double amplifier setup using smaller amplifiers for a larger output than one amplifier might be cost effective, but no, price is no matter. I am looking for people that have used multiple amplifiers on one sub, or a large 1 ohm stable amplifier.....and their experiences with the product.

Still taking suggestions from people that have actually used the product in this manner.

Thanks!!

i should just point out that regardless of your choice, it will be hands down easier to

install and setup 1 amp vs 2.
