i'm trying to install a alarm in a 2006 chevrolet silverado LT but i don't understand the yellow and black passlock 2 wire,where does that hook up to your factory alarm?i'm using a auto page 900 lcd,thank's for any help

not exactly sure what you're asking, but your autopage doesn't interface directly with the truck's passlock II. you would need a bypass to do remote start. www.bypasskit.com

yeah i'm using the directed dei 1700g gm passlock module,it's this the right module that i suppose to use?if not let me know,thank's for anyone help

I believe the 1700 module reads the passlock thru data. So the actual passlock wires on the truck are not needed.

Look at the instructions for install on the unit... it will say. It also does locks.... I think.

the only connection to car will be purple to purple at diagnostic plug and 12v and ground

the purple from 1700g which is your data output. hook that purple wire to the purple wire at your obd2 connector on the bottom left side of your dash. but make sure you hook up all the other wires to the 1700g before connecting data wire to truck

There should be a purple wire on the 1700G.  That wire will hook up to the purple wire on the diagnostic plug under the dash.  That should take care of your locks and passlock.

the 1700g will light up when plug is plug in right
