Hello,
I just installed a Bulldog Remote starter in a 88Tempo and having problems
getting the locks to work, this is a type C door lock system which requires
extra relay's. When I install then according to the diagram it pop's the fuse.
Is there an easy way to insatll these relay's ?.....seems that I may be hooking them up
to the wrong end of the wires I've cut, they're two pink wires one with a yellow stripe (unlock) and the other
is pink/green (lock), located at the drivers kick panel. Lock = # 86 pulse from remote, # 30 to one side and # 87a
to the other side, # 87 and 85 are connected to 12 volts. The asme for the unlock relay but with a different wire connected to
the # 86 pin on the relay, however this keeps poping the fuse.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Ron.

hey ron the system should come with a 5 pin wire harness module  and there should be no need for the relays...... with the 5 pin harness it should look like   this.........

GREEN/ black----unlock    from the motor

GREEN / WHITE----unlock   from the switch      cut the pink / YELLOW in between

blue/black---lock  from the motor

blue/white---lock   from the switch              cut the pink/lt.green  in between

RED / black gets fused at 12 volts constant

i hope that helps  good luck
