NEED HELP ON DOOR LOCKS,INSTALLING A AUTOPAGE RS900,INSTALL 1700G

VEHICLE UNLOCKS,BUT WON'T LOCK,INSTALL DEI 1700G WIRES,

RED-TO 12 VOLTS

BLACK-GROUND

BROWN / WHITE-NOT USE

GREEN/ BLACK-TO ALARM LOCK

VIOLET/BLACK-NOT USE

BLUE/BLACK-TO ALARM UNLOCK

RED / WHITE NOT USE

GREEN-TO CAR NEG DOOR TRIGGER

GREY/BLACK-POS DOMELIGHT

LIGHT BLUE-ALARM UNLOCK

BLUE-GROUND WHEN RUNNING FROM ALARM

PURPLE-PURPLE WIRE AT OD2 PLUG

NEED HELP?CAR UNLOCK ONLY,WILL NOT LOCK,DO I HAVE TO HOOK UP THE KEY SENSE WIRE/VIOLET/BLACK WIRE TO CAR

and when trying to remote start vehicle it will come on and die out,what am i doin wrong?

sounds like that interface isn't programmed to the car completely or needs to be flashed with some different software or something...... are u an installer.... or a d-i-y'er????

there can be only one.......

make sure you solder the data wire to pin 2 of the odb conn. then reset the 1700g and go through the programing again

so you dont have to install the keysense wire from the 1700g,

i will check the purple wire from the 1700g to the obd2 conn,and how do yo ureset the 1700g module

if reprogramming doesnt work u need to make sure that ur wire from ur rs unit that is grounded when active is hooked up to the blue wire on the 1700g. i had the same problem with my python system and that is what my prob was.
