I am having a problem with getting the remote start to work on a 2008 camry. i have a xk05 bypass module. according to the manual, the wires for the computer is 10 and 11 in the ecm under the hood. there is an axception for the camry if it is a 4 cylinder. my vehicle is a 4 cylinder. there for you need to use didderent wires and the computer is located behind the glove compartment and not under the hood. i need to know which is the right location and the right wires. thanks.

i never run all the way across the car when I use the XK05, the IMO and IMI wires are dark blue and green. They are in a harness that runs right above the gas pedal its a smaller harness that goes behind the heater core, just before it goes behind the heater core it gets covered in some split loom.   I pop the little chunk of floor vent off and then i have plenty of room to get up there.

so what you are saying is that the wires you use are coming from the ecm inside the car on drivers side and not under the hood or on the passenger side behind the glove compartment?
