Well, I don't know about a few months and motorization (*scratches head*), but mine lasted two years until it was stolen. Worked fine up until that point. your opinion on dual product head units - Page 2 -- posted image.  I certainly wouldn't use them now, I know there are a lot better brands out there.

i work at frys and my sales guys sell them all day..  only because we mark them up so hi and they get a decent amount of commision off them ...  but they dont know that i pull out about half of them within about a month to be replaced for direct swap or the customer just says heck with it and  buys a quality reciever.
you can do it....
advanced MECP, lol does it really matter....

I can't believe it worked...or it was stolen...hahaha

Maybe it was a friend trying to do you a favor. Steal the HU and force you to buy a new one.
