I am looking for suggestions on how to disengage the outside door handle-to-latch rod and outside door lock-to-latch rod from the latch assembly inside the driver side door. I have tried to remove the assembley from the door, however I just can't sqeeze my hand or any of my tools between the assembley and the outside door panel to remove those 2 rods. It is difficult working through that small access hole. What is the proper procedure?

Did you get the glass out of the way first? 2 10mm's on the bottom of the glass, and it slides rite out. Then remove the outside door handle.

Then think skinny, it's a tight squeeze, but thats how it's done. On ward, and up ward my friend.
