Ypu alarm probably designed to just trigger relays. All of the units i install have relayed or higher current outputs already so I can get away with only one relay or none on the relayed units.
Use another relay for unlock. Wire it the same way as lock but with out the resistor.

Don't you mean that you need the resistor on the UNLOCK wire and no resistor on the LOCK wire ? The UNLOCK wire requires a 1.5K ohm resistor on pin 30 going to the WHITE wire.

I have a relay on the unlock, but not on the lock. The lock works fine. I'm wondering what kind of output I should be getting from the unlock after the resistor. I'm still reading -12volts?

Oh I see. Um your output needs to be negative. What size resistor did you use?

I dont know whay I couldnt edit my last post to add this, but: Make sure you set up the relay like I have diagramed (well except for the double unlock thing, i am going to go fix that now)

The resistor I'm using measures to about 1.47 Kohms, and yes the output is a ground.
