I'm not sure what kind of car you have, but this sounds like an issue I had once installing a keyless entry system on a Pontiac G6 (pressing lock or unlock would pop the trunk).
The problem in that case was that I had the trunk switched wire on the car connected directly to the keyless module I was installing, and the module was putting out a small amount of current on the trunk release whenever anything was pressed, and that small current was enough that the car's BCM interpreted it as a "trunk switch" signal.
The solution was just to use a relay instead of the direct connection.

ah nah mine was working fine just the baby my friend has  was clicking the remote control several times and i guess it back fed to the remote starter and burned it out  even though i had diodes to go only one direction  so i seen about supression diodes or whats the reason for them i seen  and i guess i had it wrong u gotta jump the wire  with a diode  so  i bought a replacement 3400 model from c-tire now they dont have the option for the flashing light and now it doesnt work either  someone returned it faulty i guess or its a faulty one

but i dunno if u get a warrenty  if u install it urself
