charging options

I am currently getting ready to install a high end system in my car. I need some input however on charging. I am going to replace the stock battery for sure and im looking into an upgraded alternator...however I will more than likely be using kinetik batteries to power my car. My question is should I replace the stock battery with a larger kinetik battery or other battery of some sort and use 2 regular 5 farad capacitors?...or use a smaller battery and use two 800 kinetik batteries before each amp instead?...or should i use a combination of both..any help would be appreciated

Get the high output alternator. A Kinetik battery would never hurt. Make sure you upgrade "the Big Three". Wire two batteries(scroll down to hamfist's picture, and read about how to use the same batteries, etc). Don't try to use the caps as band-aids. They are supposed to help with high output systems, but i'm not going to go into detail...try searching capacitors...days of debates. Good luck bro.Sasquatch...

Get the biggest high output alternator you can afford. I'd go ahead and replace the front battery also.

Has anyone had any luck with the smaller kinetic batteries as a capacitor alternative?

if you read through these threads, alot of the vets in here do not use and or rec caps. alot of people and or jobs ive been able to help on (aka be a helper and learn) have been 2 batts and a HO alt. then again we have people that do the above and caps. i have in my system to date 2 1000 cca truck batts. with and just got it in a 15 farad cap. alt is next. going to get a truck alt from a bone yard and have it custom done. this is a rather heated debate ive seen one side saying blah blah, the other blah blah. no matter what way you go you need to upgrade the big 3. and the alt no matter what. just my 2 cents.OWWWWWWWWWWW you said you discharged the cap!
